- Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services to Undertake a Diagnostic Study on the Tourism Value Chain System of Jamaica. Background in 2020. The Government through the Ministry of Tourism, Promulgated the National Tounsm Networks Policy and Strategy to Achieve a Stable Tourism Supply Chain and to Diversify the Sector by Creating Value Networks and Cross-Sectoral Linkages. Under the Policy, Five (5) Priority Areas or 'Network' were Identified for Strategic Focus towards Greater Product Diversification and Value Creation. Namely Gastronomy. Shopping. Sports & Entertainment. Health & Wellness and Knowledge. The Network Represents Passion Areas Which Jamaica has Strong Growth Potential and Competitive Advantage. Scope: The Ministry of Tounsm is Seeking a Firm/Consultant (S) with Proven Expenence in Tounsm Policy, Economics. Logistic & Supply Chain Management and Project Planning & Management to Undertake a Comprehensive Diagnostic Study of Jamaica's Local Tourism Value Chain, to Include a Value Chain Analysis and Mapping of the Tourism Value Chain.
