Description:
Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services to undertake a Socio-Economic Assessment and Management Study of Bath Community, St. Thomas. The Bath Fountain Hotel (BFH) is owned by the Government of Jamaica and falls under the purview of the Ministry of Tourism (MT). In 2014, approval was granted to the MT to establish a multi-stakeholder Enterprise Team to facilitate the divestment of the property. The Enterprise Team engaged a consultant to conduct a pre-feasibility study of BFH which was completed in March 2017. The study identified socio-economic issues in the Bath community which impeded the development of the property. The consultant is expected to utilize a combination of tools that will provide the necessary data and information to inform the Socio-Economic Assessment (SEA). Closing Date: 28 March 2023
