• Description:
• The NWA acting on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Growth and Infrastructure Development (MEGID) intends to procure the services of Contractors via the Open/National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procurement Methodology in the field of General Road Works to undertake road rehabilitation works within the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Programme, to widen Arthur Wint Drive, Tom Redcam Road and Camp Road, Kingston and Installation of Potable Water (Retender). The project will be split into three (3) packages as follows: Package A - Works along Arthur Wint Drive and Roosevelt Ave (approx. 18 months duration) Package B - Works along Old Hope Road and Tom Redcam Road (approx. 6 months duration) Package C - Works along Camp Road and Deanary Road (approx. 15 months duration) Note: There are three (3) allotted packages, (A, B and C), in total for Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Programme. Interested Contractors can bid on one (1) or all of the three (3) packages, however, only one (1) of the three (3) packages can be successfully awarded subject to the discretion of the NWA. This is to ensure that the project timelines are met. To be considered eligible, bidders must submit the following with their bids: • A valid Tax Compliance Certificate/Letter (TCC); • A valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Certificate of Registration as a Public Sector Grades 1-4 Contractor in the category of General Road Works or Civil Engineering Works, Grade 1 minimum. Failure to submit the documents listed above shall result in the rejection of the bid.
